Seeiso Matlanyane is the Head of Equities at Prescient Investment Management. He holds a BBusSc (Honours) in Economics from UCT and is a CFA charterholder, FRM, and CAIA. Seeiso began his career at Prescient in 2015 as a trainee Portfolio Manager and Analyst, focusing on quantitative equity portfolio models.

As his capabilities became evident, Seeiso’s responsibilities expanded, leading to his transition into the management of a diverse range of listed equity portfolios from 2017 onwards. In December 2021, he was appointed Head of Equities, where he now leads the strategic direction of the equities division, with a key focus on the Prescient Core Equity Fund. Known for his dedication and expertise in equity portfolio management, Seeiso plays a central role in shaping the firm’s equity strategy.
