Luzuko joined Prescient in June 2021 as a Portfolio Manager and Credit Structuring Specialist, and his main responsibilities are to look after the Clean Energy and Infrastructure Debt Fund. In addition to the day-to-day management of the Fund, his primary aim is to take advantage of the recent impetus in South Africa to drive investment into infrastructure and scale up the Fund over the short to medium term, while optimising returns for Prescient’s clients.

Luzuko has been in the Unitised Debt industry since 2011, and previously worked at Futuregrowth Asset Management as an investment analyst; at Absa Capital as a credit-risk analyst (across various sectors, including Resources & Project Finance) and an analyst (on structured products); and at Standard Bank as a financial manager on business lending products).

He holds a BCom in Accounting from the University of Fort Hare; a BCom (Honours) in Accounting and Certificate of Theory in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg, as well as a CA designation from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

In his free time, he enjoys sports (soccer, rugby and cricket) as well as going to the gym and spending time in Cape Town’s beautiful outdoor spaces. He also does a bit of reading when he gets a chance.
