Henk Kotze

Head of Cash and Income Funds

Henk joined Prescient Investment Management in June 2018 as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, and together with the team, he was responsible for managing and looking after the interest-bearing funds. In 2021, he was appointed as Head of Cash and Income Funds at PIM, looking after all the portfolios in this category. He remains responsible for running the flagship Prescient Income Provider strategy.

Henk has been in the financial services industry for 15 years and during this tenure, he has worked for Green Oak Capital as a hedge fund manager, where his responsibilities included supporting fund managers in building processes to enhance portfolio administration and risk management; as well as managing the funds.

He holds a BA degree in Value and Policy studies from Stellenbosch University as well as a law degree from UNISA.

He spends his free time with his wife and sons, and fits in fly-fishing and a round of golf when possible. Wine is one of his passions and he shares a winemaking venture with two close friends, selling three different wines around the globe. Their first vintage was 2014 and they are releasing the 2022 vintage soon.
